December 2023: Tim wins the SOVAS Voice Arts Award for Political Attack Ad Best Voice Over/Best Voice Actor.

Tim Friedlander is an award winning, Los Angeles based voice actor, voice over artist,  studio owner, advocate, and educator. 

As president and co-founder of the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA), he has been a tireless advocate for artists rights. 

He is best known for his work on Hunter x Hunter, One Punch Man, and as Long Caster in Ace Combat 7, the voice of the PBR (Pro Bull Riders Association) on CBS, Ares in the Netflix show Record of Ragnarok and as the English voice of Navn in the dub of Beforeigners. 

Tim’s past work includes Toymakerz, the, #1 hit show on the Velocity Channel/History, the American voice of the Morphee Sleep Aide Device, and the History Channel series Evil Genius, an 8 episode series about the most ingenious crimes of the last 100 years.  

In 2015 Tim was the winner of the That’s VoiceOver/CBS2 Audition Spotlight. Since 2016 Tim has been nominated for 17 SOVAS voice arts awards, including in the Best Political Voice Over, Best Promo, Best Narration, and Demo Production Categories winning for best political voice over in 2023. 

Located in the Hollywood area, Tim works out of soundBOX:LA, his custom-built voice over studio.

In 2022 Tim co-founded NAVA, The National Association of Voice Actors and currently acts as co-owner and editor of The Voice Over Resource Guide.
